The Mitten

Recently we read the book ‘The Mitten’. The kids love when the bear sneezes! They all screen “Ahhh ahhh ahhh chew” and laugh. 

I created felt characters for the children to play with and explore. We than placed the characters in with some white rice.

When she pulled out the fox she held it up and said “fox”! Another great reason this box is so good; they get to learn about new animals! 

Even after the unit ‘The Mitten’ was over they still ask to read the book and enjoy every minute of it.
