Last week we were learning about feathers!
My friends loved painting with the feathers! I took Popsicle sticks and taped the feathers to the one end. I than gave them to the children with some paint.
This friend could not wait to get started! Before I could get ready he was almost done with his painting.
She loves to take things slow. She was really into touching the feather.
He loved taking the feather and painting his hand!
At first he did not what to make of this but after a while he opened up and had a blast!
She is my clean painter! She hardly makes a mess on herself!
Below is my wild man! He loves to get his hands in any activity and just go to town! I can count on him to show my others what to be doing (Or not what to be doing.. :) )
She is my sensory babe! She also loves to get right in and touch, smell or even taste anything she can!
As you can see all of my friends enjoyed painting themselves just as much and the enjoyed painting the paper!
This activity gave my friends a big sensory enjoyment! The feel of the feathers and the fell of feathers covered in paint! Not only that but they also got to see what marks the feathers make!
(Sorry about the shirtless children! I knew it would be mess and did not want to get it on their outfits. I am working on getting painting shirts!)
